As the swell started to show signs of it hitting the island we started to make some moves. Looking at the charts/forecasts/maps/making calls, we guesstimated that the peak would be the next morning so we joined the local crew for an evening session in one of the most beautiful beaches on the island with some of the softest sand you could ever set your feet on (mind the sharp reef in the water though). ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Kohl would wait patiently, talking to everyone in the water, watching everyone catch waves, but at the same time actually the crowd was waiting to watch him catch one and when the right one came through, he picked this one off and disappeared deep down the line up with the wave. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Read the full story of “The Unridden” on #TheCleanestLine through the link in bio.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Photo sequence: @charfilm @deepwatersurf @ikarip @fcdsurfboards @cannensurf
